I bought these to add an extra set of clamps to my ladder post. They LOST THE BLACK COLOR after 2 weeks. Now they just look like dirty old clamps next to the aluminum version I originally bought. Pictured is a two week old set of black clips alongside my originals. It looks like they were painted and then it rained and washed the paint off. Do yourself a favor and buy the raw aluminum version. At least they look clean and not like freshly washed paint. Now I have to take them off, take them to the store and sandblast them to get them solid color again.
