Review on πŸ’ Chef'n QuickPit Cherry Olive Pitter by Rebecca Martin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works well, but large holes can get stuck in the exhaust port.

A quick and safe way to pit lots of cherries. It squirts quite a bit from the end, so I transfer the core to a large bowl so the working end is very just under the rim. Cherry varieties with larger pits (e.g. the Attica cherry, some of which are too big to fit in the device) sometimes end up with the pit getting stuck in the exit hole because they are too big when the pits are moving turn sideways. to get through the pit hole. I wish they were bigger so you don't have to stop and clear a clogged hole. Clean up can be a pain if you don't stay upstairs. Make sure to rinse it out once you're done, and take regular breaks to rinse it out if you're making large batches. You don't have full access to the innards. So if you let the juice and bits that get inside dry out, you'll never get them out.
