We had the unfortunate service of removing my 25 year old Fiskars. While I couldn't estimate how many cuts the old couple made, I'm sure it was a great bunch of cuts, from paper to plastic, from heavy cardboard to dog hair and more. The old ones were sent to the garage, and the new ones took over the center box. After a few days of use they have all the good things the old ones had minus the non-stick coating and the curvature. I don't think non-stick scissors existed in 1985. What's surprising is that nonstick isn't just a fancy name. It's not sticky. The curved part is a must for most users. If I have a large sheet of paper or fabric to cut out a curve, it has a positive effect on the execution of the work. It's correct to call her just scissors, but she's a pair of scissors that can cut anything thrown at her and get the job done with no problem.
