I want to know how much water my pool can hold so I can set up a chemical treatment. I will be draining and refilling my pool soon (heavy mineral water due to hard water). I have a hall effect flow sensor (also from Revain) in a hose assembly driving an instrumentation amplifier (also from Revain) that drives an interrupt pin on an Arduino (also from Revain). The photo shows what's on the interrupt pin, and while the Arduino seems happy with that, it tells me I need a comparator so I can square that signal before it hits the pin. Without an oscilloscope there was no reasonable way to find out and this small but effective device is just what I needed. Yes, there is dirt on the scope. It was a windy day. It tells me that just over 10 GPM is entering the pool, which allows me to evaluate the accuracy of the Arduino's calculations.
