I've been looking for a bluetooth receiver for my 2005 BMW 3 Series for countless hours. Some didn't turn on automatically when the ignition was turned on (requires manually pressing the power button every time you get in the car) and others were more than 3 minutes behind. This FireFly is amazing! It connects automatically as soon as I get in the car and doesn't require a manual power button. That was KEY for me because I didn't want to manually turn this thing on every time I got in the car. The sound quality of this little thing is VERY GOOD for a bluetooth receiver. There is no noticeable harsh noise or feedback, just pure sounding music. I've tried many other Bluetooth receivers and they sounded either tinny or weak, but not FireFly. I wouldn't say it's as good as a standard AUX cable, but it's pretty damn close. I tested it back and forth with the same songs between AUX cable and FireFly and concluded that it is 1 notch below the AUX cable in sound quality, while other Bluetooth receivers are 3 or 4 notches below in comparison with AUX cable. . I'm willing to sacrifice some quality for ease of use and no cables. I installed it in my glove box and had no connection issues at all. The connection is always FAST and ready to use, making it absolutely perfect. There are some flaws that I noticed. It won't answer calls and the USB car charger that came with it didn't work properly on ONE of my devices, but other than that everything is perfect. I've looked through hundreds of these Bluetooth receivers and I'm glad I chose the FireFly. .Highly recommended!
