We inherited our Elkay double sink with Moen pull-out mixer from a friend who was renovating his kitchen. She is around 15 years old but still in excellent condition. The hose was leaking, but stood outside for about 2 months. The replacement hose (replacement hose kit, model number 150259 for Moen pull down kitchen faucet) for our Moen pull down arrived this afternoon. Next day delivery and free shipping. Installation took about 20 minutes. The hardest part was figuring out how to open the quick connector since we have an old style. Be sure to gently reinsert the tip of the tubing like you would a fishing line. and mark the placement of the weights on the old hose as they are unmarked. Flush the hose and clean the aerator before reconnecting. Works great. The time will show.
