Color seems to be missing under the ball. I have 2 photos, one ball is open and the second is not open, still in the original packaging. Both are missing color around the base of the ball. Not sure if it's due to a lack of quality control of the product or something else, but it seems like it could be better. Even without hardware to install this? 2 screws and 2 nuts cost 10 cents.
