This soft case *barely* fits the Note 9 with the Defender Otter Box. It fits like a very tight glove and takes a little effort to put your phone in. On the plus side, part of the screen is very close to the real screen and the touchscreen works well. However, the tight fit worries me as it puts a lot of strain on the seams when you put the phone in and out. I hope that over time the material will loosen up and that will be enough to make the phone easier to install. The key holder is pretty silly as it fits a very small key and without some sort of tether sticking it on seems risky. there is such a thing as a single car key. Inside there is a small pocket on the sleeve, just a hole, no clasp. I wouldn't put anything of value in it like bills or cash. I use this mount primarily to take my phone with me on my morning runs and so far it's held up quite well.
