The dirt on a block of cream cheese has bothered me for many years. The foil packaging and how the cream cheese patches get hard because the block is difficult to seal tightly. (Especially when others in the house don't really want to try it.) This cute cow/butter container solved the problem. Even though the lid isn't airtight, it does a very good job of protecting the cream cheese from hardening. It's best to be able to easily reach and remove the cream cheese without reaching for it with your fingers. I love it so much I bought it for my daughter and son in law.
