I like this coat for my puppy. This is the second one I've bought (to have a spare in the wash). I have a 20lb Shiba Inu (female) and bought size XXL. Her neck circumference (in winter) is 16 inches. Its length from the neck to the front of the tail is 20 inches. The coat fits like it was made for her! The hood is a bit too big so I take it off and pull it over her head to cover her ears. This coat closes along her stomach, making it easy to put on and take off. The locks are very strong and secure. If it's really cold outside I wear a sweater underneath and that's fine. The lining is Sherpa lining. The only problem was there wasn't a hole for her leash at the top, so I took a pair of scissors and cut a straight line (like a button hole) big enough for the hoop, and it was perfect. We've used it all winter and it's never ripped or torn. The leg length is perfect. I ordered other coats and sent them back. Feel free to spoil your pup with this coat.
