Received this product two days ago and our newborn has already slept like a champ in it. It's a very simple, solid construction and very easy to put together, which any new parent will tell you as a great blessing. This is a very basic bed with no frills. We originally bought a backpack and game that had a cradle to store next to a bed that had been moved to another room and while I don't have easy access to the storage compartments it just wasn't worth the physical effort to fit in and take the baby out, especially in the middle of the night. Also, the mesh walls and side door give me good visibility and access to my baby so I can comfort or grab and take them out in the middle of the night. I really wish I had this cradle when we first brought it home while I was recovering from my cesarean. I was initially hesitant to purchase due to the lack of reviews, but I'm glad I took the risk. This is a solid bassinet if you're looking for a no-frills side sleeper that won't break the bank. Pros: *Extremely easy to install and requires no tools *Good view for baby through mesh walls *Easy access to baby through side door/wall Cons* No storage space other than a tiny pocket on the headboard* Doesn't rise very high. In our case, we have a 14" platform frame with a 12" mattress and no box spring, so the base (mattress) of the cradle is slightly lower than the top of the mattress at max height, which was acceptable to me. However, the bassinet fits perfectly with the top of the bed. It will definitely not work with a higher bed structure.
