Not so long ago I bought UYG brand headphones as a gift for a child. We selected specially folding and wireless ones so that they were compact and required a minimum of wires and other junk in a school backpack. The choice fell on this option because of quite good reviews on the Internet, reasonable cost and attractive appearance. In addition, the declared functionality also attracted attention, although it must be said for the sake of justice that of the charms painted by the manufacturer, not everything is as perfect as we would like. So, I will try to talk about all the pros and cons with the greatest possible details and in all the details that I have only discovered during the use of this device. I'll start with the appearance, which certainly pleases. We chose a completely neutral version in white and black, although brighter (and even very) color solutions are possible. It should be noted at the very beginning that the headphones are very easy to fold and unfold, and despite the budget model and the plastic itself and the quality of workmanship is very decent. There is no backlash and fragility at all, the design looks and feels very solid and solid, which, of course, pleases at the first acquaintance. In the folded state, the compactness of the headphones deserves a good rating, this is a clear plus. It also pleases that the set includes a regular case for storage and transportation. It’s convenient that you don’t need to invent anything, but everything is already available and strictly according to the size. The cover or case is quite convenient, closes with a zipper easily and quickly. What else is included and is missing? There is an audio cable with a 3.5 mm jack and a USB cable for charging the battery. But there is no accompanying documentation, instructions for use in the kit, well, none at all! It seems to me that this is not entirely correct. Yes, it is not difficult to figure it out, but still, more or less questions arise, but there is nothing to turn to. There is no network adapter yet, that is, you need to charge it either from the USB connector of the computer, or use any mobile phone charger. I think that adapters are now worth just a penny and it would be right to put one in the kit. This is a minus, albeit not too big, but such an incomprehensible "savings" cannot be attributed to positive aspects. But the pluses include a fairly large range of adjustment in size. Headphones not only fold and unfold, but also have the ability to move apart in length in order to conveniently position the occipital arch and, accordingly, fit the headphone pads exactly "on the ear”. It can be extended from both sides by three centimeters, which is a lot, which means that our headphones are suitable for both adults and children, that is, for a head of almost any size. This in itself is not bad. The size of the pad, that is, the joint diameter of the headphone body together with the ear pad, is also sufficient, it is not too large, which ensures a relatively good compactness of the entire product, but at the same time it is quite suitable to cover the entire auricle, providing better perception of music and some isolation from noise of the environment. This is how the headphones "sit": But, there was a slight downside here. The microphone is located on the outer side of the "right ear", thus, during a telephone conversation, the interlocutor is disturbed by street noise and other extraneous sounds. It cannot be said that the microphone is completely weak, but, nevertheless, the communication quality that it provides is somewhat worse than desired. So I'll call the quality of the microphone average, a weak C grade. This is rather a weak side of these wireless headphones, because of which I will definitely lower the rating, because I did not like such a connection. Control of the entire device is located on the "right ear", here are all the buttons and connectors. Their location and execution can be called comfortable, thoughtful and of high quality. The on-off button does not require a long press, but is simply made in the form of a slider switch, which is convenient for "blind" switching on, that is, by touch when headphones are worn on the head. All other buttons are made quite clear and sensitive, and they are also located at a sufficient distance from each other, in general, the control during use is quite easy, we call this a plus and we like it. Also on the same headphone case are all the connectors that this device has. The following photo also shows the overall design solution, a combination of glossy surfaces in alternating white and black colors. Many do not like gloss because all fingerprints and the slightest spots on it are immediately noticeable, and also potentially in the future it is a danger of small scratches, no matter how carefully a person treats the headphones. Maybe so, but externally I like the execution, so fingerprints and the risk of scratches we will endure, I think. But such glossy elements give the whole product some visual lightness and even elegance. And the gloss here is really mirror-like, you can look into it and comb your hair :) When you turn on the headphones, the light indication lights up, and each color means something different: Bluetooth is connected - blinks blue, FM radio - green, the device is charging, then the red light indicates this process. I confess honestly, I did not delve into the significance of the light indication, this question did not torment me, it just exists and that's it. The display, however, looks quite interesting. It will not be possible to convey this qualitatively in a photograph, so I will just give one collage for completeness of the review. These headphones allow you to play music directly from a microSD memory card. This is another plus in the piggy bank. Personally, this function seems to me both important and convenient, I don’t always want to play music from my phone via Bluetooth, sometimes I have to save the charge, and playing from a memory card is a less energy-consuming process. The card is inserted in the same way as in many other devices, it snaps completely inside the headphone case, so that there are no "hooks" left. When you connect one or another mode, the headphones will tell you by voice what is connected now. True, I note that in this case, this "Chinese English" is, well, at a very "Chinese" level. This, in principle, is not annoying, but we could try to record better voice accompaniment. I really liked the reception of the signal via Bluetooth, or rather, I liked the distance at which confident reception is carried out. I, leaving the phone in one room, went from room to room, then to the kitchen, tested the connection through three closed doors, and everything continued to work. This is good, here you can definitely trust the ten meters declared by the manufacturers for receiving a Bluetooth signal. But the real minus, which was discovered and a solution to which was never found, is an exceptionally weak and poor-quality signal reception from FM radio stations. This is very upsetting! Of course, you can do without a built-in FM receiver, but you want to get what was stated in the product specification and for which money was paid. This is the very minus for which one could not recommend these headphones for purchase at all, but the other pluses, from among those listed above and the overall decent sound quality for such a budget line, stop harsh and radical comments. Maybe I just got married, I don’t know. Everything works, but there is no radio, alas :( A few more words about the ergonomics of the headphones. They are comfortable which is a plus. Made both visually attractive and high quality materials. The ear pads are soft and pleasant, they are comfortable and do not put pressure on the ears. Also, the inner surface of the neckband is made of a material very similar to ear pads, so it also leaves quite a comfortable feeling. In general, you almost don’t feel these headphones on your head, and this speaks for itself. This comfort is partly achieved by the exceptionally low weight of the headphones. They weigh only 180 grams, which, of course, is practically not felt on the head, it is lighter than a hat or some other headgear. This is how the purchase turned out, there are big pluses in it and, unfortunately, very decent minuses. There are many good indicators in terms of characteristics, I won’t list everything, there are other sources for this, but I note that their autonomy is quite good. The manufacturer promises as much as ten hours of listening to music without recharging. It seemed to us that this figure is slightly overestimated, but only slightly, in general, they work really long. Another advantage is the moderate cost. And for this price, the headphones have good performance in terms of sound quality. Yes, if you pay 4-5 thousand, then the headphones will be of better quality, but for one thousand rubles it will probably be hard to find the best. So the price-quality ratio is the very indicator that captivates again. Based on the totality of all the pros and cons, I will give this product four with a fat minus, but I still can recommend it for purchase, there are also those qualities for which such headphones will quite suit the majority, albeit not the most demanding music lovers, but ordinary users who purchase headphones this price range. Thanks to everyone who is interested and read my review.
