Replaces the original hose on a Kohler shower faucet. The threads match, the color of the brass matches the rest of the fixture , it's nice and flexible and overall it works well.The 'stretch' part of the hose seems to be made with an inner elastic material and the metal outer part of the hose is flexible enough to allow the hose to twist around several inches. This design also allows the water pressure in the hose to extend it a few inches during use. When the water is turned off, the flexible hose will deflate after a few seconds as the water pressure is released through the flexible inner portion of the hose No problem - just something you don't expect at first.
