Unreliable mounting system with adhesive strips that melt on the windshield and the device just falls off. Within 2 weeks of receiving the unit, ours suffered a severe scratch on the solar panel from a dive and hit the seat frame on the floor. So far I haven't found any other way to use it. Try taking it off between uses and the sticky Velcro strips just peel away from the seams like they're constantly falling off. Slime is now smeared around the toilet. I live in downtown Cali where normal temps are around 95-100 for 4-5 months and now this thing rolls uselessly across the dash (unless you can see the thrill of trying to while driving to catch a fall). I've tried many phone pads/methods but then the device screen would tilt down and couldn't rotate enough to see it. If it's high enough on the w/s to see the screen as intended, it's either behind the mirror in the shaded part of the w/s, or behind the w/s canopies if they're used. ? I called Minder Co. The lady I spoke to only briefly replied that maybe I could find a phone holder for it? You didn't get anything. What it needs is an aw/s suction cup with a proper bezel to fit it in, as well as a more adjustable screen head. This is too much for the customer to try and decide, so in my truck I found a way to just insert it into the defroster vents at a weird angle. But well, really, for that much money? It's a shame the device works so well (and I really mean it), but then the monkey department just couldn't find an ergonomically functional design for their mount. If someone smarter than me (it won't be long!) can find anything useful about this, I'll be happy to edit my review later. Otherwise there are currently no recommendations.
