DO NOT BUY THIS GREASE GUN! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I, like many others, thought a decent $25 grease gun would be in order for the occasional circus performer's smear on my cars here and there. As with many things I bought, I knew that anything made in the US would be expensive, so I looked for a decent name and good reviews on Revain for a foreign-made device. me. It was just a grease gun; nothing more. I bought it and a tube of grease for my next auto service and relied on the Revain bestseller label to give some reassurance that at least it was a grease gun that would work. 4.5 star rating, "WOW - that's for sure!" I thought. Silly me. NOT RIGHT. THAT IS TRASH. DO NOT BUY THIS. PLEASE, FOR GOD'S SAKE, BUY A QUALITY GREASE GUN AND SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY. FOR THIS REASON. I received a grease gun in the mail. It was packaged fairly simply but had everything I needed and was easy to charge and use. Over the next few minutes I do a quick 2-3 minute lube on the upper arms for my 4Runner (brand new upper arms, less than 6 months old, zirconium in pristine condition) and I find that the zirconium is suitable for lubrication . the gun won't let go. I move it, pull it, push it, twist it. Doesn't let go at all. I do a quick google search and BAM - this grease gun comes with all the TERRIBLE reviews I kinda missed under those 4.5 star reviews - which I assume were bought and paid for. I had to completely disassemble the entire grease fitting assembly. to pull out the mainspring and force it to release the zircon without tearing it off (expensive replacement, over $200). Thinking that maybe I did something wrong, I tried another joystick circus and the same thing happened! The grease gun is designed to look like a grease gun. But not letting go of zirconium is a major problem that can damage your gear and is especially bad for those who use the tool for their work and livelihood. I immediately requested a return and immediately purchased a quality US assembled lubricator. The grease gun I received is a pristine piece of workmanship and performance compared to this $25 loathing. I happily paid triple for a good grease gun and couldn't be happier. I chose the LockNLube block along with the easy to remove grease fitting. This is the best grease gun I've ever used and I'm sure it will be with me for many years to come. dot on the cap. I'm more than impressed with how bad it is, and a quick look at Revain reveals many user-provided photos of their leaking syringe caps and fittings. I don't know how this stuff is still being sold at Revain but please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS!
