One of the first tests I did with this monitor was to go to YouTube and watch a full 4K UHD video and since I have two monitors, 4K and not I can easily see a significant difference in color richness and recognize the sharpness of the video .is on this monitor. Attached is a video I made with a handheld digital microscope. The first video is from an old monitor and there may be dead or dying pixels. It then displays 4K pixels, with the pixels being much smaller, as you'd expect, since it's a higher resolution. You can see the RGB outlines on the old monitor, but not on this monitor because it uses a technology called IPS, or In-Plane Switching, where the liquid crystals are aligned in parallel. I didn't notice any backlight bleeding in my test either. The technology is more expensive to manufacture, but the result is amazing!
