My left bumper broke - I got lost and couldn't figure out what was going on. I followed a youtube video and took it apart and it was easy enough to replace (I also replaced the d-pad and sync button as they came with the kit). It's also nice that two joysticks are included (used to repair another). One thing I want to make sure of when replacing a broken bumper is that there are small clips on the outside that are part of the controller's main bottom plate with all the circuit boards. It almost forms a "D" shape and keeps the bumpers close to the body/in place by hugging the clip on the bumper. Mine was broken too, but replacing the bumpers seems to have helped - the left side wobbles a bit, but it doesn't click and wobble without problems.
