Good enough to hang heavy pictures during earthquakes. Accurate measurements and careful alignment are important for this type of hanger, but once you've done this you'll know exactly where the picture will be (which you can't do with picture wire). This is probably normal as the type of screw should depend on what you are screwing into. They have a little more slip than other hangers of this type I've bought which means the picture will be a little more proud on the wall than some , but also means you can use button head screws.
