My daughter has bought two steering wheel covers for several years, a traditional black leather cover for her father and this "ethnic" one for herself. Well, my husband may be exuding some sort of tissue-damaging substance, but this year I've noticed his steering wheel cover is falling apart while hers looks premium. He drives more than she does, but still. I got him this "ethnic" steering wheel cover for his birthday to replace his nasty, off-black one. The old one came off the steering wheel, a bit sticky and uncomfortable in my hand, the feeling of foam dissipated. Now he has this new "ethnic" steering wheel cover. It was cheap, it looked great, and it's more of its own kind, not faux or real leather. I'm not exactly sure, but I think it would be much more environmentally friendly to buy something made from organic material instead of faux leather. Or skin. The colors are also beautiful muted earth tones. It doesn't look smooth and plush like plush hubcaps, but I don't need my husband to rock his hubcaps to sleep.
