Review on ROSES Appetite Destroying Wallet by Rocksax by Justin Puranik

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easily ranked among the top ten greatest hard rock records of all time

Now I'm getting a little older and Guns N Roses have been with me since 5th grade. I saw the debut of the video "Welcome to the Jungle" on MTV. A lot of people didn't get me until Sweet Child of Mine came out, but I knew right away they were going to be awesome. In 6th grade I had a circle logo patch on my jean jacket, I got kicked out of school for wearing a robot rap shirt, I could play Paradise City on drums and of course smoke cigarettes in style. The band have continued to release tons of other great music over the years that I still appreciate to this day (yes, even "Chinese Democracy”), but overall nothing beats the timeless classic, Appetite for Destruction.

Cons
  • Finally opened and the 2nd disc is warped and won't play. Too bad my return window has expired
