UPDATE: After posting my first negative review I went online and ordered a replacement part through their website. Contrary to what I was told on the phone, the replacement top was shipped promptly and I received it within a few days. For this reason I am changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The dressers are good and now I'm glad I was able to get a replacement for the damaged top. ORIGINAL REVIEW STARTS HERE: We ordered three of these (two with 3 boxes and one with 6 boxes). First, my wife and I are very fond of dressers. They are solidly built and look good (except for damage - more on that later). It took me about three hours to assemble the first chest of drawers with 3 drawers alone and with the help of a hand screwdriver. The second dresser took about half the time with the help of my wife and a cordless screwdriver. The main issue I had was that one of the dressers arrived with a damaged top (as you can see in the photos). At first we didn't think it was such a big deal as it should be relatively easy to order a replacement top and complete the build when it arrives. However, it turns out the manufacturer is blaming COVID for its inability (unwillingness?) to ship an interchangeable top. Instead, the only solution they could offer was to assemble the entire dresser and send it in for a replacement or refund. Honestly a dresser isn't worth the time and effort to go through all of this which is why we decided to keep the damaged dresser. I think it's unacceptable to say they can't get "spare parts" when they clearly can. send whole chests of drawers, which are nothing more than boxes with unassembled parts. You just don't want to open up an existing dresser drawer and assemble pieces from it.
