I first bought a 5000 Air Lift or 2017 Ram 1500 Crew Cab but didn't realize I would need to make permanent changes to my frame her up. I didn't feel comfortable doing this with a 200 mile truck. I returned and bought them to tow my 31ft camper with a 640lb drawbar. I also carry 200 pounds in bed when we go camping. Delivery was quick and all items arrived in good condition. I have read many installation reviews and they have been mixed on how to install the bags. I love that most don't have a lift to get the truck airborne, but I didn't feel that using a lift was necessary. Installation: First thing I did was remove the rear fender trim, it's about 9 screws and the trims come out right away. Then I took my wheel chocks and blocked the front wheels. I took my 3 ton jack and () a 1 foot piece of 4x4 and (2) a 1 foot piece of 2x4, but you can use what you have. I stacked all 3 on top of each other and used a jack to raise the rear end at the trailer hitch. I lifted the rear all the way just before the tires wanted to leave the ground. For safety reasons I put my jacks under the truck. I squeezed the first pocket so it was flat and tried to fit it in the back but couldn't get the pocket in. I then tried to get in from above and was able to insert the bag and remove the lid. in less than 30 seconds. After installing both bags, I connected the hose to the first bag and pushed the hose through the frame to the hitch. I did this for both bags and installed a T-hook behind the hitch, running the last line to one of the holes pointing from the hitch to the back of the truck. TIP: When fitting the hoses onto the nipples of the bags and T, use a little silicon spray to help the hose slide more easily. If you have a long bed truck, you will also need more hose. The kit comes with enough to make a 6 foot bed, I have 14 inches left after installation. I vented the bags to 35psi per the instructions and left them on for 3 days and the bags had a pressure of 33psi. I drove the car 40 miles and came back to check the bar pressure and it's still at 33. I left it at 33psi for a week and left the truck there and it's only down 1 psi inches and that's due to the fact that I've checked it 4 times. I think. I bought a Viar 88p air pump with these airbags and everything works great. The total install time from start to finish when I did it myself was less than 2 hours. I hoped this review would help.
