Works well in a remodeled Chromebox

I took an Acer CXI2 end-of-life Chromebox and turned it into a Linux Mint PC. I upgraded the RAM to 8GB and the 16GB SSD to Gamerking SSD M.2 2242 128GB. After flashing the BIOS with MrChromebox, I was able to boot Linux Mint from a USB stick. The new (old) computer works fine. The only downside is disassembling the Chromebox, which has SSD and memory slots on the bottom of the motherboard.

Pros

Even if you accidentally drop your computer or it falls on a hard surface, it can still prevent damage and data corruption from accidents. The built-in intelligent algorithm control mechanism has features such as garbage collection, which can ensure work efficiency. Powerful wear leveling technology and improve ECC (Error Correction Code)
