Wow. Don't write reviews often. a little, this gun deserves it. Nice and hot, nice and fast. Compact and well built. The first hot glue flows easily after a cold start after just 2.5 minutes. Almost no drops. You can actually slide sticks through this thing. If something. Some may not like that the glue is so hot that it spreads when applied to a slanted or vertical surface. I like that it gets so hot. The self-adjustment function works well. I was worried when it first went out. but came back a minute later, and then I realized it was just an adjustment. The trigger mechanism is one of the best I've ever used. good positive presentation. long strokes. bright. can press out a good volume very quickly or dose very precisely. A replacement tip would be on my wish list for this item. Update 4/2021: Unfortunately this hot glue gun no longer works today as it turns out. I emailed the seller and they quickly took care of it under warranty and sent a new gun. My family loves this glue gun very much. I think if he died once a year we would still buy a new one every year. I don't know why this one isn't working anymore, but for the number of days a year we use it, at $38 it's worth it. But definitely a 5 star rating after almost a year of use.
