Review on ๐Ÿ  Finnex Ray2 Aquarium LED Daylight: Efficient Lighting Solution for Vibrant Underwater Life by Epitome Ballard

I don't like spending money on things I don't use often.

Wow! Its very bright! I really needed a very bright light because I have a 29 gallon aquarium and the light from regular lights rarely reaches the lower plants due to more water flowing through them. When I turned this one on, I couldn't believe it; it is brighter than TWO fluorescent tubes. I haven't been able to determine how the plants will grow yet because I've only just started using it, but the description says it's the correct spectrum. After 1 month: I have severe "hair algae" on everything. I did a little research and it turned out that aquarium LED lights tend to produce hair algae. Further research shows that treating plants with hydrogen peroxide using a spray bottle and a well-diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide and water kills hair algae as well as most other algae. For best results, empty 90% of the water from the tank into one or more buckets. When the potion is READY, spray the potion on all plants and wait a few seconds, then return the original water to the tank. But you need to do it in such a way that the temperature of the spring water does not drop more than 1 or 2 degrees. The dilution is: 3 milliliters (mL) of 3% hydrogen peroxide per gallon. Water (using spring water). Then use an LED in addition to a regular light so that you don't use the LED for more than a few hours a day. Well I spent $95 on this lamp. what causes problems; I needed more light than my previous two lights could put out so I bought these. Now. Should I reduce consumption? I heard about light diffusers and maybe I'll give it a try. I originally gave this item 5 stars but now I'm giving it 3. I don't like spending money on something I hardly ever need to use.
