Well built and powerful but the aquarium looks washed out

I have an aquarium with deep high tech plants and this light should be the second light to complement the higher end Build My LED (BML ) Dutch XP 6500k device . Good Features: Good price, looks great/very modern, very low profile, strong brackets, plants grow fast so it can definitely grow plants, well built/feels solid. Things to look out for: (I don't want to say "bad" as they might be a plus for some) Washed Out Colors: The BML unit has a mix of red, blue and white LEDs and brings out theโ€ฆ

I don't like spending money on things I don't use often.

Wow! Its very bright! I really needed a very bright light because I have a 29 gallon aquarium and the light from regular lights rarely reaches the lower plants due to more water flowing through them. When I turned this one on, I couldn't believe it; it is brighter than TWO fluorescent tubes. I haven't been able to determine how the plants will grow yet because I've only just started using it, but the description says it's the correct spectrum. After 1 month: I have severe "hair algae" onโ€ฆ

Great Product Great Price

These flower bulbs have finally allowed me to keep all the plants I've always wanted. My Ludwigia has turned copper red with a bright red underside, all my plants sometimes go pearly at midday especially when I add Flourish Excel. I just got 10 gallons of Diy co2. I spent about $6 in my LFS on reduced half-dead plants, some of them were just half-leaf roots or stems. After about a week of adaptation and slow growth, these plants skyrocketed, a month later my aquarium turned into an underwaterโ€ฆ

Finnex Ray2 Aquarium LED Daylight (review after 2 weeks of use)

proposes this lighting system which I think is a phenomenal LED aquarium lighting system. Unlike traditional fluorescent lamps, this system lasts longer and uses less energy. Not to mention that the results on plants are amazing and almost instantaneous. Before buying this lamp, I spent about 6 months looking for the perfect lighting system for my aquarium, the properties of which in every way prevent the penetration of light and therefore the growth of plants. My 50 gallon tank is 24 inchesโ€ฆ

48 " Ray2 Daylight for fish and aquatic animals

This review is for the 48" Ray2 Daylight. I've used it for less than 24 hours but I'll share my first impressions. This product is made in China and it shows from the packaging (plain brown box) to the vague instructions and very limited warranty. The lamp itself is very compact and appears to be medium sized. The included legs do not fit the 1" tank frame, this wasn't a problem in my situation as I knew immediately from the intensity of the light that I had to lift it out of the tank, I have a

Great light - found a way to hang it that made it perfect!

The light is superb and very bright. I haven't used it long enough to see how my plants are doing but it's a golden, cool tone (of course it could be brighter , but I am currently using a medication that turns the water slightly yellow). I'll see if they let me post a photo later when I'm done with the treatment. I just realized I need to go home and look at my feet in the light. They appear to be adjustable and should be removable. I'm not sure because it didn't look like it when I was homeโ€ฆ
