Does the job but definitely not the kind of keyboard you want to work with every day. I've been using Mac keyboards (software developers) consistently for 6 years and, oh yes, I can easily tell the difference. A keyboard like this only has a limited number of aspects to check: 1. DESIGN: โข The Esc key looks like an OEM Apple key, but it's only square! Something like a missing Unicode character. Also, in Fn mode, the top right key has "del" and the key just below it has "delete". โข And the top half of the keyboard is blank and the indicator above the F11 key is lit. It really could have been done better. What's great, however, is that the order of the keys in the lower-left corner is preserved - fn, control, option, command. Most of the keyboards I've seen on Revain were mixed. The same goes for the Fn keys (volume in particular) which are in the right order.2. EASE OF USE: โข Requires 2 AAA batteries. I don't know why I was under the impression that it could be charged via mini USB until I unboxed it. Maybe because that's the norm for most Bluetooth devices these days โข Also, it doesn't have a caps lock light/indicator (which can be a bit awkward when entering a passcode on the lock screen). The only indicator it has is the battery, which I couldn't figure out what it means when it flashes green. Finally, there's a tiny black button on the back of the keyboard that you need to press to turn on the device. discoverable for Bluetooth. Believe it or not, it took me a few tries to realize it was actually a button and not a lightbulb!3. TOUCH SURFACE: โข Definitely not as smooth as Apple's. It won't hurt your fingertips like sandpaper! But fingers do not slide easily over the keys, which may affect frequent use.4. PRESSURE REQUIRED: โข As mentioned, the keys are slightly taller than an Apple keyboard. And the keys require more pressure to go down. Again, typing isn't as comfortable as Apple keyboards, but acceptable for 1/6 the price. === Conclusion: Since we needed a keyboard for everyday use, we are sending it back. (And I don't know why I had to contact Revain support to get their "FREE RETURNS" claim.) I'm giving 3 stars for people who only want a bluetooth keyboard once in a while - yes, 15 $. This is a good price for such use.
