I am happy with this purchase. First of all, this is not a clasp, but this is the most important quality of a tie, whether for children or others. Why would anyone think that attaching two pieces of metal to a small child's neck is beyond me? Cute, great size, lots of room to grow. My child is 3 years old and works so well that I hardly notice his unwanted 3 year old traits when wearing this tie. Yes, he'll roll on the floor in a public place, but that's okay because that tie is so stinky cute. In my opinion, it fully justifies its price.
