I ordered this Chromebook in April for my son's distance learning. Everything worked fine at first, but after two months something in the lid started to move and eventually covered the front chamber! After 5 months we found a mysterious crack in the Esc button just above the power adapter connector. Now the microphone sometimes does not work and the crackling increases, as if something inside is swelling. We called Amazon and they put us in touch with Lenovo tech support. They said the warranty doesn't cover physical damage and gave us the number of a local computer repair center which got stuck in auto select mode after calling. I've always been a Lenovo fan and we treat this Chromebook like the gold of the house, always on a solid laptop stand. I am very upset that we are now stuck with this Chromebook falling apart and I am concerned that something cracking in the laptop could hurt my son! DO NOT BUY!
