I received 6" and 24" versions of this DRO for my lathe and replaced some branded AccuRemote which were not working properly. mounted on one hand. Very useful for XYZ adjustment. - Many mounting options. PROBLEMS: - The rails/bars are magnetized as hell right out of the box. If you buy one of these make sure you also get a degaussing element as magnetisation seems to interfere with correct reading ie numbers jump. - The readings are updated about 2 times per second, which is a bit slow. - The swing arm is made of plastic, which means it will wobble at the slightest vibration.
