Not Built to Last - my new review

I used this sleeve for just over two weeks. In that time I used it for easy walking, moderate hiking, and tried it for squats. I don't consider any of this to be intense use, but your opinion may differ. The compression of the sleeve is adequate for helping with knee stability and blood flow. This remained true while I owned the product and throughout the 4 hours I hiked in it.The straps that support the patella work okay, but depending on how your leg is shaped may require frequent adjusting to maintain supportDespite those qualities, this brace is not robustly built and will not likely survive even moderate frequent use. Within one week of use the patch where the Velcro straps attach began to come apart from the sleeve. By the end of the next week a hole formed just above the corner of that patch, which grew rapidly once formed. The material of the sleeve itself feels cheaply made and loosely woven. If you're considering this strap to increase knee stability and help relieve patellar stress during anything resembling athletic activity, I'd recommend something more solidly built.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who have a knee deformity
