I like how the device updates the firmware. In addition, it provides basic sensor information when connected. You don't have to worry about anomalies when these readings can be easily viewed. I have bought many, many sensors in bulk. Most of them are still working. Some of the built-in modules (e.g. this model) constantly show the "wrong" temperature (due to the proximity to the heat dispenser on the installed board), but this particular device does not have such a problem. Temperature readings rarely deviated by more than ONE degree Celsius from the separately measured ambient temperature. Great tutorials for different platforms are also available!
