This is an opaque cotton (I want to clarify). Very long. I like it when my skirts don't show anything. It doesn't disappoint. The material is thicker than some of my other skirts and I'm definitely happy with it. I'm short and this skirt covers my shoes. It fits me perfectly and is very comfortable. I love the pockets and how it looks. Worn for the first time and got compliments. May return for other colors.
