I was initially skeptical about this type of litter box. I adopted a stray adult cat and wasn't sure if he uses a closed box but the open box was driving me insane with litter everywhere. I have never fitted a swing door, I thought the hat might be too big for him and I was right. He really entered. I figured it out, although he liked it a lot better when I rolled back the first half. Since he grew up he's more comfortable in it and doesn't have any problems with it or throwing garbage around. I can see when he used it and I can dig up my stuff right away. The clear top helps too. It would be better if it broke because it's flimsy plastic, but for now it's fine for my purposes. Otherwise I would give 5 stars
