Nothing but positives and better than I was hoping for

I installed them about a month ago. The installation took about 30 minutes, although of course I took my time. For me it took a 1/4" drill bit to drill a hole under the cabinets between the wall sections and out of sight and I then had to drill those holes a bit with the side of the drill bit. I put the male end through the hole plugged in to get rid of any remaining dust and to keep it from getting into the female end.Gluing the lights themselves was pretty easy, however as my cabinets are several years old I cleaned the surface 3 times with Miracle Wipes which is a type of solvent but leave no residue. This is a crucial feature as even the cleanest housewives seldom bother to wipe under kitchen cabinets let alone degrease.Let dry for an hour, apply 3 strips of tape to each pear, braid through cabinet wall thread and glue onto the case and make sure you place it correctly before pressing firmly.Keep pressure on the Light each for about 15 seconds and you're done. I attached them in such a way that not all of the weight is hanging on these adhesive strips. The light travels almost the full width of the cabinet, so the cable running through the wall carries most of the weight and the adhesive strips do little more than hold it in place and keep it stable. Positioning the power cord was a bit tricky. First you need to connect the power through the dimmer switch, but also understand that the switch is too heavy for the adhesive zips. At best, these things can be used to fasten the cord along a vertical surface. Luckily, the package includes a couple of plastic mounts with a single screw that wraps nicely around the cable. One on each side of the switch provides all the support you need. If I had kids at home who also use this, I'd probably buy high-tack double-sided tape to add some stability to the back of the derailleur. ensure safe movement in the kitchen. It's nice to have something I can turn on in low light in case someone needs a drink in the middle of the night, but without having to mess with the backlight or having a backlight that's bright enough to fully immerse you wakes up. But at full brightness it's amazing how much light these things put out without adding heat, giving the kitchen a beautiful glow. It looks great reflecting off my black stone countertops, appliances and glassware. They can last for hours and stay cool. It brings so much light into my workspace and makes cooking more enjoyable. The color temperature of the light is cold, white with a slight blue tint. I expect they'll last a long time, but if one of them fails, replacing it should be about as quick as changing a lightbulb.
