Review on SPS C1 500 Pocket Screws - 1 Inch Pan Head Fasteners by Clinton Youmans

This review is for 1 inch long #7 pan head screws with large holes in pan head recesses. I bought these screws to assemble cabinet drawers made from 1/2" poplar. Since poplar is a softer wood, 30 years ago I chose large screws over fine thread and drilled pocket holes with a Kreg Micro Jig guide. The poplar rod in the Size was purchased from a local bulk box store and was less than 1/2" thick but the screws held the corner joints in place without the spikes protruding past the outside edge of the sides of the box. Nothing more to say: they work as advertised!
