Well I read the positive and negative reviews and based on the overall rating I decided to risk this one and not other cheaper ones. I was wrong. I had the same chance of it working as the cheaper models trying to attach an adapter. The only good thing is the concept. That's all. - He's a lot tougher than expected. I couldn't even bend it to go through the inlet and the curve at the beginning of the bend to the hose. - If you try to "bend" it, the white line can become a tight crease, so I wouldn't really try. It looks like this plastic - I have a Hoover and a Shark Rotator - neither of them fit. I'm more imaginative than average, so I literally took a toilet paper roll, crushed one end and inserted it into the vacuum end, inserted one tool into the other, and taped it in place for quick use. Yes, it is not like that in spirit. I was very busy at the time and it just wasn't worth going back. I'll look for a better adapter to fit to, but avoid this if you have a Hoover or Shark rotator.
