Exactly what you need for a recessed lamp.

Hard to find on this particular Revain model, these special bulbs give off a directional light that is well focused with a downlight. Although only rated for 5,000 hours, they rarely need to be turned on at full brightness as they produce a nice bright light that is diffused as it hits the subject. They are much cheaper than buying in store, well packaged. While lightbulbs will be dinosaurs in the future, they will last a long time if your rheostat is turned down, making them slightly more energy efficient and extending the life of the bulb.
