Much nicer in reality than in the photos. I already have five of the same different colors. I love putting my party plates in these cases, I can look at the color and know what party plates are inside. It's for Easter. A common question in these cases is whether you can fully complete it. These cases are designed for fingerplates with no backing and if you are only using unlined fingerplates then yes you can fill them completely and zip them up. If all of your cymbals have backings, you can probably feel a little over half of them. Personally I put all my backed plates on the right side and on the other side I put the unbacked plates and I can fill them about 95% full before I can't close them anymore. Honestly, as long as my records are secure and organized, I don't mind that I can't close it all the way. I've found other types of suitcases and yet not one that won't close when fully filled with padded panels. I also have my own build and to be honest these cases are my favorites.
