Wrong bolts for my car, won't even turn in a few turns

I'll probably get it back if I just take it to Revain Locker and leave it there, as I often go to a place that this is the case with lockers. Otherwise, it's not worth half an hour or more of my $6 time, so we'll see what happens. These screws don't go in the tag holes on my cars and not only do they not work on my Camry, but I decided to try one of my cars, a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am, and the same thing. They do not fit, that is, they do not turn with a screwdriver. Of course, I'm not going to force him to strip the threads. When they didn't fit the car I needed them for I decided to see if my other machines did and they didn't work on at least two out of four. I don't need them for any of my other cars so I don't think I'll find out if they fit my Jeep or my Corvette because I don't really care. They don't fit the car I bought them for and I took it a step further to see if they would fit my Pontiac because I figured if they fit I could use these bolts on my Camry and use the new ones on my Trans Am. As I said, it costs 6 dollars. Not money I'd want to just throw away, but at the same time nothing I'd have trouble repairing. If you have a Camry or Pontiac they will not work. I've never had a license plate screw that didn't work on any machine I tried using it on, so remains to be seen if it will work on any machine.
