I plugged it in and turned it on, ready for some sweet relief from the cold. But instead of warm air, there was a loud bang, a flash, and my circuit breaker went off. I turned off the heater and padded down to the basement to turn on the switch. I tried another device in the same socket and everything was fine - definitely the heater was broken! Revain support asked me if I tried it in another outlet (very bad idea, I declined). They wanted to refer me to the manufacturer for support, I refused. They refused to refund my money unless I sent the product back. It's not worth it for $25 so I declined too. Disappointing Revain support experience. Attention buyers!
