I have bought this for years to come and passed it on to my kids as beginner climbers. The striking face of the hammer is randomly sharpened at an angle to the head and body. Because it's made in the USA, despite the description, it's poor quality control and a lack of attention to detail. I'll sharpen the plane, which I don't have to do. A shot at an angle can lead to inaccuracies and be less safe. The next purchase will not be from this brand anymore, because it was clear that they save on quality and process control.
