Review on Deepcool Redhat CPU cooler, white/red/black by Wiktor Iwanski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

The first installation may seem like a living hell, especially if there are large VRM zone radiators around on the motherboard, but you still need to crawl and snap this thing somehow. When using RAM with high radiators like Patriot Viper Steel, you will not only have to replace the standard 140mm fan with a 120mm one, but also move it higher, which will cause the height to be all 170mm. However, I used the complete 140mm turntable on the 1155 platform with DDR3 Kingston HyperX Fury with very low radiators without any problems. With the subsequent upgrade, I had to send her to rest, she didn’t fit . With the included turntable, it kept the i5 2500k quite warm at 4.6GHz within 65 degrees. With the DeepCool UF120 120mm turntable purchased to replace it, it howls quite well at system startup, but at any other time it does not make much sounds, in the photo it is with this turntable! Many complain about an uneven heel, I bought it almost at the start of sales when it cost 1/3 of the current price, the heel is even, I attached a photo. I also attached a photo of the temperature results during the stress tests in aida / occt (120mm turntable, 80% rpm)

Pros
  • Six thick heat pipes and a massive one-kilogram radiator So big that it will do just fine in passive cooling on some sluggish stone up to 75w Comes with a 140mm fan, which gives hope for silence with good radiator airflow Handles a TDP unlocked and bus overclocked i7 10700f with a margin, even with a 120mm fan When using a complete turntable, it is extremely quiet, even with gaming loads it is not audible The best for the money, although after raising prices for it, it finally has competitors Good equipment, all kinds of fasteners, 2 pairs of staples, a sticker with a hat, and quite a thermal paste Successful backplate for Intel
Cons
  • Due to the height of as much as 168mm - it will not allow you to close the side cover in most cases Not friendly with tall RAM heatsinks Due to its shape and dimensions, it cannot be put in any other way than the standard one, for example, blowing upwards, on a mother that is tight in terms of sticking with large radiators The absence of a screwdriver in the kit, but it is clearly needed here and as long as possible

The question is about the thermal paste that comes with the kit, it probably needs to be replaced
