I purchased this as a gift for my Mom. She is beyond pleased with this device and those of us around her are just as happy for her. As anyone that's priced them knows, a true medical hearing aid can cost thousands and they are never covered by Medicare or most insurance. She had tried the very low end amplifiers that you see advertised "As Seen On TV" the kind that use headphones. They were basically just toys.This item, is the perfect in-between solution for people suffering from hearing loss. It costs more than the bargain amplifiers shown on TV, but is still hundreds less than a medical device. and worth every penny.
