I needed this product to get rid of the smoke smell. I left a pot of food on the stove and although the kitchen didn't catch fire, it smoked the whole apartment and hit EVERYTHING. I washed everything I could to get rid of the smell, all the bed sheets, coats, jackets etc. but there were some items I couldn't wash and wanted to try to get rid of the smell before dry cleaning some of them . This spray worked like a charm. I've tried Febreeze (unscented), a commercial solution called Odor X (costs 80 gallons), but this product worked the best. At first I was concerned about the smell of bleach, that it would bleach clothes, but that didn't happen. The spray itself is non-soapy, sticky, and feels like water. I used 1 full bottle on wet items, enough to leave a light mist. When the fog cleared, the smell of smoke disappeared and there was no longer any odor. I would use it again in a heartbeat.
