Review on πŸ“¬ Revamped National Mailbox Lock: Introducing the New Style C9200 by Nathan Tank

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor design, allows the cylinder to push loose springs and pins

Removed old lock, this one in place, tried unscrewing the nut retaining cam. The slight pressure to screw the nut in pushed the cylinder out just far enough to notice the key and prevent it from turning, and it couldn't be put back in. Put the old lock back in place. (Even at an advanced, absurd age, the old lock did not fall apart.) Brought home a new one, and the cylinder fell out entirely, flinging the springs and pins out. The pins and springs didn't have the same number, so some of them must have fallen on the ground next to the cluster box. Bad design leads to bad experiences.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
