I used it to connect my security camera to the back office via Cat 5

I bought another brand and after 2 weeks it came to light. We already had an OREI system in our church bingo hall, so when the first system came out I just took it and connected it to our other system if I wanted to. the attic then used hdmi to connect to a security receiver on one end and easily connect to a tv on the other end.

plug and play setup without any software installation. 20~60KHz, IR remote control
