Mysterious Lube in a Spitting Pump Bottle

I thought a non-toxic, eco-friendly lube would be a very good thing. It would be if we didn't just have the company's words that it is actually non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Reading the safety data sheet, the main ingredient is listed as good old mineral oil. then 4 patented trade secret ingredients. They may be completely harmless - or not. Who knows? And even if they ARE non-toxic, eco-friendly, etc., that doesn't guarantee that there's no way they can become toxic, e.g. B. by contamination and reaction to other substances, deterioration and aging, elevated temperatures, etc. I would use it on a firearm? Not in a million years, not knowing how this can affect wood and varnish, microscopic cracks of metal, special coatings, various plastics, its temperature behavior and many other factors. Mineral oil based lubricants come in a HUGE number of varieties. for special applications from simple 3-in-1 household oil to sewing machine oils to ultra-high-purity oils with special additives for high-pressure and vacuum applications. Mineral oil itself is a petroleum product and comes in different types, each with different performance. I wonder what Nexus Green uses? I also. The reference to the spitting pump bottle refers to an unfriendly pump. This is the type when you push a little. Nothing . push a little harder. Nothing . then spray full. My first few uses resulted in fairly random overspray. Slim is not. After trying it I have no idea where to use it. If I find a good use for it I'll update this review. Some of my favorite lubes include Fluid Film when a long-lasting, non-drying lube is needed for outdoor use (like gardening tools), white lithium grease, SuperLube for cars, sewing machine oil, Phil's bike lube, and a few others I can't remember. Decent SDS info on all. This is Mystery Oil (not to be confused with Marvel's Mystery Oil). Come on Nexus Green you can release SDS better than DAS. To be fair, Nexus Green appears to be a perfectly usable light household oil.
