I have worried for a while that the simple cable lock I have on my bike will be snipped off any my bike will become a memory. It's no fin to eat lunch wondering if your bike will still be there! No more!This is the lock to have if you have a valuable bike to secure. You are not snipping this off easily, because it's simply that solid. If you have a full suspension bike I would buy two because they can be daisy chained together.For starters, this lock is substantial and feels solid. Look closely and you will see that the protective sleeve over the chain, and the rubber cover on the base will protect your bike. I pulled and twisted it but no dice on it ripping off and hitting the finish of my bike. The locking mechanism is solid, and the key is of that inverted type that is smooth on the outside. On turning the lock, it feels smooth and does not grind indicating quality.My overall review is that this is a solid product that I will feel secure is keeping my bike safe.
