These metal bushings are a definite improvement over the plastic bushings normally supplied with the sanding disc. But there is a large gap between the innermost sleeve and the mandrel of the grinder. I had to route each bushing (with painter's tape) to ensure a tight fit and eliminate as much wheel run out as possible.
